compensation: This is an hourly position typically requiring 40 hours per wk. Rates range between $16 and $20 per hour depending on skill set.

Responsible for in field measure, customer relations, and shop fabrication drawings. Works closely with CAD Programer to create final cut profile of jobs. Communicate directly with client while in the field to help explain the overall job process.

Complete fabrication drawings for shop & installation use.
Work and communicate with Sales Team, Shop, and Office Personal
Process Template orders according to Company process and procedures typically communicated through company software.
Communicate directly with Clients to confirm template schedule and time windows, arrive on time with having communicated a on way request with client
Once arrived at customer location, Templater is expected to measure called out item on sales order for what would serve as exact dimensions for stone applications.
Work and communicate with the customer regarding job layout
Work orders are then completed by the Templater, noting all required measurements, polished edges, cutouts (sinks, cook tops, faucet holes), plus radiuses on the tops and any other necessary specifications desired by the customer for the job.
Any unconfirmed information about the job (such as missing faucet specs, missing cooktop specs, etc) is the responsibility of the Templater along with the salesperson to find out any missing information in order to complete the work order and template.
Templater is expected to communicate any relevant information or additional client requests about the job to the salesperson, on a timely basis.
All work orders and their completed templates including a photo packet are expected to be uploaded into the software no later than 24 hours from the time of templating.
Informs Shop Manager of vehicle status and maintenance requirements.
Perform other responsibilities as directed.

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) The ideal candidate would have previous work experience either templating (measuring), installing stone countertops, working as a fabricator, or cutter. Other relevant work experience would be a carpenter, contractor, framer, cabinet installer, or other tradesman.

Ideal candidate will have a clean driving record and will submit to a drug and background test.

Read tape measure and use accurately to provided correct dimensioning and basic drawings
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Read blue prints and cabinet layout
Capability to use Computer and Tablet
Capability to use CAD software, and normal office suite software.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.
Advanced computer skills are a plus
Strong communication skills are a plus

The position will require the following physical activities on a regular basis; driving, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, sitting, walking, lifting a minimum of 75 lds, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing and handling.
