Pretium Property Management LLC is a commercial property management company owned by the principals of a private real estate investment firm founded in 1992 and headquartered in Haddonfield, NJ. The company is actively involved in the acquisition, financing and asset management of commercial properties, primarily neighborhood shopping centers throughout the eastern seaboard and North Texas.
Position Description:
The part-time maintenance position shall provide proactive maintenance and facilities services for shopping centers in the Charleston, NC metropolitan area - one is located in downtown Charlotte, NC and one is located in Kannapolis, NC.
Location:
The position will require maintenance visits to properties in Charlotte, NC and Kannapolis, NC. The employee is expected to work from home and communicate with Pretium’s local Property Manager. The chosen candidate will receive a monthly mileage allowance.
Hours:
The chosen candidate will work two 8 hour days each week. After-hours availability may be needed to address emergencies.
Job Skills:
• Perform assignments in the installation, repair, alteration, and maintenance of facility systems, including minor HVAC, carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical to include both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Candidate must have an ability to work at developed properties and construction sites, climb and maneuver on building roofs, and walk uneven terrain.
• Report and communicate all work activity via smartphone devices and inter-office paperwork to supervisor.
• Assess and diagnose required repairs, both for estimated cost and vendor responsibility.
• Procure all repair materials in a timely manner to meet scheduled completion dates.
• Possess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility maintenance.
• Respond immediately to emergency situations and tenant concerns.
• Perform all work to industry standards and maintain a professional manner and appearance. Employee will be required to wear Pretium work clothing.
• Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives as related to building operations and practice safe work habits.
Education:
High School Diploma or High School Equivalent.
