I am moving out of state and am looking for someone to take over my lease from May until January (option to renew) for my gorgeous top floor apartment in the historic mill. The apartment is located walking distance to downtown Belmont, it is perfect for someone who wants to be close to all that Charlotte can offer (it is about 20 minutes to uptown Charlotte - you can even get delivery from a lot of Charlotte restaurants), but is looking for a more quiet, small-town feel that Belmont provides. Belmont is only about 10 minutes from the airport, so it is perfect for anyone working for the airlines!
The apartment is a one-bedroom, one-bath unit. It is "MILL A5" floorplan listed on the Chronicle Mill website. The amenities at the apartment complex are top-notch, and they include a pool (open year-round), community room, gym, pet spa, bocce court, and resident events. They are cat and dog friendly.
Since my lease was signed last year, the rate is lower than they are currently offering!
It will be unfurnished.
Details:
Base rent: $1634/month (does not include fees)
Rent with fees: $1769/month (includes WiFi, valet trash, pest control, admin fee, and pet rent for one pet) (water and electric are billed separate)
Lease dates: May 8, 2026 (negotiable) through January 24, 2027
Move in costs: I will happily cover the lease takeover fee which is half of one month's rent. You will need to fill out an application, but the pet fee ($350 if you have a pet!) so you will not owe that. You will receive the deposit due at the end of the lease (which was $200), so I would just ask that you would cover that since it will go back to you :)
