We are currently seeking a QA Testing Specialist (Applicion Security / FTE / Hybrid / USC, GC, H4/L2 EAD) to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina (US-NC), United Stes (US).

Job Title: QA Testing Specialist (Applicion Security / FTE / Hybrid / USC, GC, H4/L2 EAD)

Role Overview

NTT DATA is looking for a QA Testing Specialist for a Corpore Banking client, with strong experience in Java/JSP-based applicions and a focus on applicion security testing. The role involves functional, integrion, and security testing, along with defect management and test da preparion in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute test cases for functional & non-functional requirements
• Perform applicion security testing and valide vulnerabilities
• Identify, log, and track defects using Jira/Xray
• Debug issues using browser developer tools (JS/network analysis)
• Perform session manipulion/mocking and request/response validion
• Conduct API testing (Postman/REST tools)
• Collabore within Agile Scrum teams (onsite/offshore)
• Analyze test results and provide actionable feedback
• Manage test da and contribute to continuous QA improvements

Required Skills

• 5+ years in QA testing of Java/JSP-based web applicions
• 5+ years of Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile Scrum
• 5+ years of Hands-on experience in JavaScript/browser debugging (DevTools)
• 5+ years of Experience with HTTP traffic analysis, payload modificion, session/token handling
• Familiarity with Jira, Xray or similar tools
• 5+ years of Experience in API testing
• Understanding of OWASP Top 10 / web security fundamentals
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communicion skills

Security Testing Experience (Preferred)

• XSS (Stored/Reflected), CSRF
• Session issues (fixion, hijacking, token exposure, session mocking)
• Cookie security (HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite)
• IDOR / broken authorizion
• Ph traversal, HTTP verb tampering
• Authenticion/login flaws & sensitive da exposure
• Security headers (CSP), caching issues
• Vulnerable/outded libraries (Axios, jQuery, Ext.js)
• API security (including Open Banking / TPP)

Qualificions

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT or reled field
• Experience in banking/financial systems preferred
• Exposure to security tools (Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP) is a plus
• Experience working with global Agile teams
