As a Field Applicions Engineer Arrow Electronics, you will be helping our customers select and design-in interconnect, passive, and electromechanical components, electronic components, and solutions from our extensive line card. Arrow FAE’s are trusted advisors, providing technical expertise and guidance to ensure the success of both our customers and our suppliers.

Wh You'll Be Doing:

• Drive demand creion by maximizing Arrow content on designs.
• Develop an advanced understanding of the customer’s needs and leverage Arrow’s engineering and design services resources to identify & facilite solutions for customers.
• Apply technical expertise to influence designs utilizing solution selling, resources, and stregies. 
• Partner with the sales team across pre-and post-sales activities.
• Provide technical support and consulting to promote demand creion.
• Champion return on engineering investment, design win priorities and initiives by obtaining buy-in and support from sales.
• Work with customers to develop a thorough understanding of their design requirements both a system and component level.
• Prepare and give sales presentions to customers.
• Manage top opportunities and opportunity funnel for assigned suppliers.
• Attend supplier trainings in-person and via conference calls.
• Demonstre an understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of supplier technologies and how those technologies rele to market needs.
• Provide training to sales teams on new products and help market these products to the approprie customers.
• Manage supplier and customer expections by building and developing relionships, keeping stakeholders up to de on activities, plans, and progress towards initiives.
• Deepen and broaden connections with key decision makers within customers and suppliers. 
• Attend and actively participe in stregic branch meetings and quarterly business reviews. Develop and drive stregic technical plans by supplier line or customer solution.
• Help plan and organize engineering customer events and seminars.

Wh We're Looking For:

• At least 5 years of electronics hardware experience with a bachelor’s degree in engineering; or an advanced degree with some experience; or equivalent work experience.
• Familiarity with specifying electronic components, as well as passive, electro-mechanical components.
• Sales/technical sales experience is a plus.
• Strong communicion and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to quickly build strong relionships with customers and suppliers.
• Excellent communicion and presention skills.
• Able to meet with customers both on-site and virtually (will require some overnight travel)
• Ability to solve complex problems and take a new perspective using existing solutions.
• An individual who can work independently with minimal guidance.
• Someone who will act as a resource for colleagues with less experience
• FPGA experience a plus
• Loced in North Carolina

Work Arrangement:

Field-based with some overnight travel required (Territory covers North Carolina, South Carolina, and Eastern Tennessee)
