Starting out with payroll in 2014. Started preparing monthly bookkeeping in 2015. And I have been preparing all types of returns 2016 until now. I understand depreciation and year end book adjustments. I clean up books all the time, because whose clients don’t back post. Our practice handles around 1500 clients. I mostly do prep and review now. I can do many other miscellaneous tasks.
Working in a small office has been a huge benefit because I have seen a little of everything. It’s not unusual for 10 weeks during tax season to get 70 hour weeks.
