I had to leave my house due to domestic issues with my roommate, so I don't want any judgement please. Rehoming her is the last thing I wanted to have to do, but I'm currently crashing on my brother's couch and can't take care of her like she needs.
She will need a vet visit to get updated rabies vaccinations and isn't fixed. She has also done well with other dogs and cats (see below for more info).
This is Maggie, she is a little over a year old. I estimate she was born in the summer of 2023 - she was left on the side of the road at 5-6 weeks old with her sister so I took her in. I'm not sure what breed she is, but she's also on the small side, she probably weighs around 30 pounds if I had to guess. She's still young and just had her first heat cycle a month ago which is why she's not fixed yet. She's rambunctious, goofy, and a total sweetheart. She has bursts of playing and being an energetic little rascal and then later gives the most wonderful snuggles when it's bedtime. She is crate trained and potty trained, but may still have an accident in a new home due to nerves, so whoever gets her should take her out often until she adjusts. I haven't tried to see how she does out of the crate while I'm gone, so she's untested in that regard, but she does fine in it. She does get quite loud and excited when I do get home from work and when she plays with other dogs she does loud playful growling that can be off-putting to anyone who isn't used to it, but she has never been aggressive at all. She is also used to being fed in her crate so there's always been a positive interaction with it. Her meals are scheduled otherwise she'll scarf all her food down and keep eating until you stop her. Her crate can come with her if you need one. She walks well on her leash, but tends to pull when she's excited. I tried off-leash with her with some recall training, but she's bolted on a couple different occasions so she either needs to be walked on a leash or in a fenced in yard. Other than jumping excitedly, she's done amazing with children, other dogs, and cats. Her and my cat actually play with each other quite often so she would do just fine in a home with other animals and children.
