Hello, Im looking for people to start a band. I personally play more 80s - 90s alternative rock and punk, but I am open to anything as long as it's interesting! I have nothing against groups of older musicians, but I am looking for people closer to my age (19) . I want to bring newer musicians so any experience level is okay; I have started from scratch before and I am more than happy to start again.
I have only played in a couple of bands myself in the past, but I have been playing on stage since I was pretty young. I currently play guitar, but I am able to play the drums (sorta), bass, and some vocals. I prefer to be able to play music together well before we go out and try to play any official gigs, although if we wanted to play open mics or for personal friends, I don't have any issues. I am okay learning some covers to start out, but my ultimate goal is to produce our own music and release it.
