High End Component Breakdown
Neck Precision crafted by Musikraft USA, topped with a resonant unbleached bone nut. The neck features a highly desirable, comfortable taper, measuring 0.82 inches at the 1st fret and filling out to 0.96 inches at the 12th fret. It offers a substantial, stable feel that fills the hand perfectly without feeling bulky.
Body Premium alder body by Guitar Mill, finished in a gorgeous, thin skin aged nitrocellulose sunburst that breathes and will continue to wear beautifully.
Pickups Porter Pickups J90s. These offer the perfect sonic footprint delivering the classic definition, air, and bite of a traditional offset, but with a thicker, more robust midrange character that sounds incredible through both circuits.
Electronics Fully wired dual circuit electronics. The lead circuit utilizes premium 250k CTS potentiometers and an Orange Drop capacitor for a smooth, musical roll off and predictable tone shaping, while the upper horn rhythm circuit is fully independent for those dark, smoky indie and jazz tones.
Bridge VC Tone Shop Goliath bridge. This is the ultimate stability upgrade for this platform. Engineered with stainless steel saddles and precision brass sleeves, it provides a solid, non rocking anchor. It completely eliminates string skipping, preserves exact intonation, and maximizes acoustic coupling and sustain.
Tremolo System Kluson offset tremolo retrofitted with a premium Staytrem arm and collet assembly. This eliminates the sloppy play and annoying rattle of standard vintage arms, keeping the arm exactly where you leave it while providing a smooth, responsive pitch bend.
Tuning Machines High quality, Japanese made True Tune vintage style machine heads for smooth, reliable tuning accuracy.
Condition and Setup
The guitar is in fantastic functional and cosmetic condition. The only finish wear is the intentional, tasteful light aging from Guitar Mill. The frets are level, the action is low and fast, and the string alignment is dead on thanks to the Goliath bridge geometry. Toggle down for standard punchy lead tones, or flip up to the rhythm circuit for an instant ambient roll off everything works perfectly. This is a pro level instrument built to handle heavy touring or daily studio work without breaking a sweat.
