This is a sax that I overhauled and then played lightly on for 6 months to a year. Ralph Morgan who designed this his goal was to make a better horn than the super action that Paris offered at the time. Many including me think they play as well as the Mark6. Donald Sinta and Boots Randolph promoted them and used them professionally. The protec case pictured is 100 bucks more as I have the original case and it is in good condition. As you'll note the horn was transported without an endplug so I had to desolder and repair the socket on the horn and it's done perfectly. I'd spot lacquer that area but don't feel like blowing up my home and it's too late in the year for me to do it outside. Their is also some wear on the pant leg side of the bell that also could be spot lacquered. I've wrestled with selling this but I've purchased a mark 6 at 62 as who knows how long I'll be able to continue to play. If the Yamaha 61 sells first that I have listed here I may take this down as for the money their isn't anything else made that comes close. They made approximately 10,000 of these and they're very desirable. Please call if interested as I don't text. I've included a few pictures from my Air Force Band and civilian musician days. I owned a shop and sold vintage winds until disability. This is one that remains from when I had to selll the shop due to disability.
