For sale is my gold top Epiphone SG traditional, upgraded in every possible way. I got this particular guitar for a tribute band I was in, and had to have a gold top SG. The only other option was paying 2K for Gibson. I had had no intentions of ever selling this guitar, so I upgraded the hardware, the pickups (Wolfetone custom hand wounds) All wiring, all pots ect.

The pickups have the most organic tone I’ve heard, and are unbelievably versatile. I can actually get realistic Tele tones, Strat middle tones, and full on humbucker rock tones out of this guitar. I can’t speak highly enough about these pickups. The hardware also made a huge difference. The neck is a slim tapered, 60s profile neck, which is a joy to play.

I also got a very nice top of the line gator hard case. It was super expensive.

I am not one to upgrade guitars, and then sell them. I never intended to sell this guitar.

However, I’ve just got too many guitars, I am moving very soon, and I am actually trying to get rid of one or two, and as much as I hate to, I am just not using this guitar, and I’m no longer in that band. I must downsize, so I am selling this one.

The guitar was 500+ tax new, and with the upgrades, labor, and hard case, I easily have over $900 in it.

I am selling it for $750 cash. I would put it against any SG out there, Gibson, or otherwise, with the upgraded pickups, it’s just a super super versatile guitar. Also comes with strap locks installed!

If the ad is up, the guitar is still available. Please, series inquiries only, and this is one of those guitars that if you play it, you’ll take it home. It plays better than a standard Gibson SG that I had in the past.

Thanks for your time, and I’m happy to answer any questions for serious buyers out there.
