Wonderful guitar, looks great with a nice amber patina to the finish. It has been played, and shows signs of wear. The pot codes are 44th week of 1973, so may have been early 1974 before it found it's way to a dealer. The Grovers are factory, never had the rain gutter Klusons. The frets are the stock Fretless Wonder frets, nibs are there, the pickups are the original pickups with the patent stickers/wire braid but have been out of the guitar and reinstalled. There is a 2 over the serial number, indicating it was a factory second- back then it was a finish flaw, 50odd years later who cares. Plays great and sounds amazing. Looks like .80 on the first fret, 1.02 at the 10th, 1.69" nut width. Weight is10 1/2ish pounds. I would expect to see Witch Hat knobs, so the speed knobs are probably non original to the instrument. Original purple lined hard case included. Thanks for looking!
