As a professional drummer, I special ordered this Ludwig tom new, as part of a drum kit, in the mid 90s, from Reliable Music Company in Charlotte NC. The Ludwig factory is only 20 miles from my home. I had a memorable, up close and personal experience watching the skilled Ludwig people putting my shells and red sparkle wrap together.

I've always taken excellent care of my drums whether traveling, or while in temporary storage. They've always been hard-cased and NEVER left in any extreme temperature or humid enviroment. The bearing edges remain perfect. When set up and tuned properly, these thin shelled maple Super Classic toms have sounded beautiful. It comes with its original classic hardware and it's easy to experiment and try different mounting configurations. The case that is included is a Humes Berg (I think). This case and my heavier road cases have traveled many miles with me, always keeping my red sparkle Ludwigs in pristene condition. This tom will be well secured and shipped to the buyer in this road case shown.
