Hello, I’m currently searching for a private landlord who is open to working with a reliable tenant. I have a Section 8 voucher for $1,250 and am looking for a 2–3 bedroom home that falls within that allowance. I have no pets, I do not smoke, and I live with my preteen daughter. We are hoping to move as soon as possible.

I want to be transparent that I do have one prior eviction, but since then I’ve taken the proper steps to make sure it never happens again. I have maintained a stable rental history and can provide a strong rental verification/reference, proof of responsible tenancy, and all required documents from the housing authority. I’m looking for a landlord who is willing to give me a second chance and appreciates honesty and accountability.

I am a clean, respectful tenant who takes care of where I live, communicates well, and pays rent on time. My goal is to find a long-term home for my daughter and me.
