This is a vintage, all original Underwood Typewriter. Going by the numbers on the bottom it was made in 1937. This is a very large desk Typewriter and is collectible as it has an 18 inch carriage. This Typewriter measures about 25 inches side to side and about 12-1/2 inches deep. It has been in the family since the early 1960s and was used over the years up until about the 1980s. It still has an old ribbon probably dating from the 1960s or 70s. The Typewriter still works and types faintly with the ribbon but that's not to say all the keys work perfectly. Some keys stick , I didn't check every single one but it does type faintly due to the very old ribbon. It's going to need a good cleaning and oiling. There is some wear overall as shown in the pictures. It has been cleaned some with some of the dust/dirt removed since pictures were taken. I know ribbons are still made for these vintage typewriters if one wanted to actually use it. Due to the extra large desk size, it is extremely heavy.
