I am selling 55 gallon burn barrels. The price is as follows.
$12 each uncut.
$10 each uncut for quantities of 2 or more.
$18 each cut.
$15 each cut for quantities of 2 or more.
The cut barrels will have the top cut out, and holes near the bottom for air flow.
These had motor oil in them and will probably have oil residue remaining.
If it is still posted, it is still available.
To be clear, uncut barrels do not have a removable top. If you are planning on using the barrel for burning, the top must be cut out.
Just to be clear, as many have asked what does "cut" mean or "can I keep the lid to reseal it?" These drums are sealed similar to a can of vegetables you would but in the supermarket. When you open the vegetables with a can opener, the lid falls in and cannot be put back on. When I cut these, it is basically the same thing. If you need one of these to burn in, either I will need to cut it, or you will need to cut it.I can also offer these with both the top and bottom cut out. This option will not have the holes drilled in the sides. It would basically be a tube. With this option you would want to set it on bricks or stones to keep it slightly elevated to allow air to enter. This works best and the barrel actually tends to last longer because it doesn’t hold the ash in the bottom. The ash build up if not emptied before it rains, turns to a wet paste that quickly rots the barrel. I offer these at the same price as the other cut barrels.
