A tall rustic Thai vintage hand-woven rattan and bamboo storage basket, pre-own from the mid 20th century (1950's), with hand-stitched cross motifs, circular lid, wooden scalloped base and dark brown patina.This large rustic basket features a circular hand-woven rattan lid with concentric circles surrounding a darker center, opening to reveal a convenient storage space strengthened with bamboo. This lid is sitting above a generous hand-woven tapering body with slightly dark brown hue, resting on a carved wooden bracketed scalloped base accented with hand-stitched points in the corners and bamboo brace. This storage basket could easily be used as a hamper, a toy storage, or even a side table. With its great proportions and nice dark brown color, this tall vintage Thai rustic style hand-woven rattan and bamboo basket from the mid 20th century will make for a great addition to any bedroom, living room or covered patio.
