Selling my 2001 BMW Z3. This car is a great ride with a lot of life left in it! This car cranks up every time like a tank, and can zoom pretty quick, all while feeling like butter. This car has a manual convertible kit, meaning to take the top down or up, you’d do it yourself.

This car is an automatic transmission, and while some may prefer manual as I usually do, I must say when riding top down cruising is so easy. The transmission candidly does give me a little hesitation entering 3rd gear, but tbh it’s not something most people could feel if you’ve never driven manual, and it certainly shifts every time! Just being honest about it. The car is 23 years old now. Also this car was in an accident upon my buying it. I replaced the hood, all headlights, fog lights, and bumper. Took me 4 months to get it looking good, before I then drove it over a year plus, and now I’m ready for a vehicle with more space, and that’s my primary reason for listing. If you’re single, or have multiple vehicles, this is a great addition.

The Good- convertible top, decent mileage for the age, new rims (Z4 style), cranks every time, and is super dependable. This car has never once left me stranded in the year I’ve had the pleasure of owning it. Heat works great! This winter I’ve been cozy.

The Bad- Check engine light is on due to a vacuum seal. Also leather seats and paint on exterior are aged. Seats are still very comfortable. Some of the dash and panels are also aging and starting to crack. NO AC, the lines themselves need replacing, not just a recharge. It isn’t the most expensive job, but I no longer care to see it through.

All in all this is a smooth vehicle with a lot of life left for someone looking for a point A to B car, a potent project, or just something different if you’ve never had a top down experience. I recommend Spring and Fall for the best rides. Summer is great for the top down, but not when you’re at a red light lol.
