Casablanca wedding dress 1902, ivory, size 12. This is not your average “off-the-rack” dress. This dress is absolutely beautiful and has a trumpet shaped silhouette adorned with pearl and sequined lace appliqués. It is made of silky taffeta. It has an under layer of ivory satin and layers of netting which gives the dress its slight flare. The cathedral length train is stunning. This strapless dress is accentuated with Swarovski crystal “buttons” down the back. Whether in indoor lighting, outdoor lighting, or night lighting, this dress shimmers from all angles. I had an outdoor wedding and white-tent reception, and the dress sparkled throughout the entire event. I paid $1,100 for the dress in Charlotte, NC, and paid $80 to have three bustles sewn in. The dress is the perfect length to walk, dance or mingle at your reception. I received so many compliments on this dress. It is not one you see all the time in bridal stores. It is truly beautiful.
