These two masters formed a partnership from 1833 – 1837 in Bristol, Connecticut. The clock is in perfect running condition, and features a raised gilt eagle splat over the painted wood dial, half columns with gilt capitals flanking the upper and lower doors, a reverse painted glass in the lower door, and an original mirror in the midsection. The unique eight-day strap brass movement is spotless, and is powered by two cast iron weights and regulated by a pendulum. The clock strikes the number of the hour on a bell.
