I am downsizing my Bonsai collection. The trees range from entry or recently collected material, through intermediate specimens, to my pride and joy: two Japanese Maples in the naturalistic style pioneered by European artists. All trees are potted in real Bonsai pots; none of them are grafted. This is a unique opportunity to own a living piece of art.

Inspection/transaction will take place in a public location in the Charlotte area (north side). Cash only.

Clear, easy instructions on tree care will be provided.

I will update the list below as trees are sold or refined further. Additional photos available on request.

Large Japanese Maple, 2in trunk, splendid Japanese pot - $1,500
Medium Japanese Maple, 1.5in trunk, rare red bark variety, beautiful spring and fall colors, high ramification - $1,000
Medium Shimpaku Juniper, fantastic 2-trunk movement, Japanese pot - $900
Small Korean Hornbeam, excellent ramification - $800
Small Japanese Maple Kyohime, plenty of character in trunk, exquisite spring colors, pot by American artist - $700
Twin Japanese Maples, beautiful slim pot by American artist - $500
Small Japanese Black Pine, plenty of character in trunk, great taper, great balance in branches - $400
Small Ficus Benjamina (can be kept indoors), thick trunk, stunning Taiwanese pot that matches fruit as it ripens - $400
Small American Hornbeam, entry level, beautiful Japanese blue pot - $250
Small Japanese Elm, entry level - $200
