I’ve been a ceramic artist for over 50 years so I know my way around kilns and I always take good care of them. This one is in really great shape other than a small interior chip in the lid, but it has no impact on the kiln's performance or venting heat. In fact, we just had an electrician inspect it. A connector had to be replaced, but he said everything else looked great. In fact, he’s happy to speak to a serious buyer if need be. He’s been servicing kilns in the southeast for many years. The kiln has had relatively low use over the years. It has never been fired above cone 04 (bisque firing) and never with lead glazes. I’m just at the point where I need to downsize my kiln, which is why I’m selling this one.
I will include the 30-piece furniture kit that came with it, although one half circle is cracked. We’ll call it a 29-piece kit. The furniture kit alone is worth over $500 new. The Bartlett controller is a wall mount unit, which is a plus for most people. The Kiln retails for around $4700 with the control unit. I’m basically asking half of its value including the furniture, which seems like a great deal at $2800. Please let me know if you have any questions. Serious inquiries only please.
