LandDesign Inc., an established and multi-disciplinary design firm is searching for a Proposal Coordinator to work in the Charlotte NC office. The chosen candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in English, communications, journalism or related field along with experience working in the Architecture/Engineering industry.
Having excellent writing skills for this position is essential. The proposal coordinator will be responsible for providing assistance in writing proposals in order to exceed our clients’ expectations. Being the master of editing is very significant because proof-reading, editing, and checking for proper grammar and spelling is an important component of this proposal coordinator’s responsibilities. Possessing a good eye for detail is also required to guarantee high quality of proposals and style of delivery.
Superb organizational and interpersonal skills are crucial. An ability to manage people and tasks in order to meet deadlines for multiple projects is necessary. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing and updating resumes, project data and other information typically included in proposals.
The chosen candidate will also develop a strong understanding of the firm’s experience and will work very closely with project managers in the selecting project examples as well as identifying staff suited for each project team.
In addition to having a bachelor’s degree, fabulous writing and organizational skills, the successful candidate will have working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite and InDesign.
