I have been interested in
writing a screenplay for a short/long film.
The screenplay will be about a young man who
thought he had everything going for him but
different events sidetracked him in directions that seem endless,
causing him to do things he would have never done in the past.

Summary of essential job functions
• Responsible for all audio-video stimulus preparation and conversion, report graphics and template generation, video shoot/edit/production.
• Responsible for the systems maintenance and troubleshooting including PCs, network connectivity, and audio-video equipment.
• Required to assist in experiment scripting and coding.

The Charlotte Mecklenburg Public Access Corporation, a non-profit organization responsible for providing community media services to the residents of the City of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County in North Carolina, has an immediate opening for a Studio Coordinator. This is a part-time position that reports directly to the Operations Manager. Evenings and Saturday availability required.
Responsibilities:
1. Monitor facility use to insure safe and efficient utilization of Public Access assets and to insure adherence to standard practices, policies, and rules.
2. Teach workshops in Studio and Field Production and Non-linear Editing.
3. Make adjustments to production equipment as required for a specific production.
4. Troubleshoot equipment and make minor adjustments and repairs.
5. Assist in general upkeep of facility.
6. Maintain relationships with the public, producers, and users.
7. Participate in any in-house productions.
8. Support playback operations by ingesting programs, loading decks, and troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Television Production, or Related Field.
2. Minimum of two years experience in television production.
3. Experience with Television Studio Equipment and NLE Editing (Final Cut Pro preferred).
4. General computer knowledge.
5. Ability to work with a diverse group of people.
6. Ability to work evenings and Saturdays.
Compensation:
$11.00 per hour

PENDULUM SWINGS
Synopsis
DALE JENNINGS looks like a man who’s got it all - a nice suburban house, a career he loves, and two wonderful young daughters, JENNA and JESSICA.
But Dale’s home is not an entirely happy one. His wife MARIA believes video production is for slackers, and thinks Dale should get a real job like her. She’s gone back to school for her degree, and is swiftly climbing the corporate ladder. She’s also got a new circle of young friends, and is busy recapturing lost time on the social scene.
The marriage is crumbling, and Dale doesn’t realize how fast until he loses everything - his home, his daughters, and eventually his job. Unable to cope, he descends to the bottom of the bottle. And when tragedy strikes, Dale ultimately goes over the edge into despair.
Dale gets a last-minute shot at redemption when his old music pastor, BARRY, asks him to start a television ministry at the church. And his life begins to truly turn around when he has a late-night encounter with the God he thought had abandoned him.
Meanwhile Maria is up to her neck in corruption at Colson Enterprise, and a chance discovery offers Dale an opportunity for sweet revenge. While a stranger called ANNIE walks into his life, and just might help Dale to rediscover love.
