A little bit about me: I am a 36 year old, white, non smoking, clean, professional male. I currently live in my own 2bdr apt at Bexley @ Harborside (across from Midtown) and have been for the past 2 years following a divorce. I�ve enjoyed the privacy of living alone, but things sure are tight paying over $750+ in rent and all utilities all by myself after a divorce. I have a good IT job, make decent money, have been with the same company for almost 10 years. I�ve never been arrested. I have two small boys 6 and 3 that are my world and I have them quite a bit more than just every other weekend. I get them EOW, one week every other month, and some in the summer. My boys are VERY well behaved and well mannered. We love to laugh and have fun, but I don�t allow a bunch of horseplay inside my Apt. so I certainly wouldn�t allow it in someone else�s home. I don�t let them jump on couches, run in the house, and I teach them to take care of things. They have a chart and get stickers for showing initiative and good behavior. Generally when I have my boys I like to have something for us to do to get out of the house anyway. I�m just laying this all out there because I don�t want to feel like my boys are bothering a roommate, but at the same time I want it to be known that I wouldn�t allow them to be disrespectful to someone�s property. I have a small 12lbs dog that I�d like to keep, but don�t want it to take away from finding a good place to live. He could stay outside if there is a fence or as I do know, I leave him in a crate when I am at work. My lifestyle right now during the week basically consist of working 8-5, M-F, stopping by to see my boys on the way home, getting home, surfing the internet, and watching TV. I like to drink beer\wine, but don�t get out of control or anything like that. Don�t go to bars much because money s so tight, but I try to get out some on the weekends when I can. I�m a Panther PSL owner so I do tailgate and go to all the Panther home games. I date some, but no steady girlfriend to be hanging around all the time. Anyway, overall I�m a pretty simple, and fun guy, I get along with just about everyone, work hard, play hard sometimes, but not at the expense of others personal wishes and property. My job pays for my internet connection if there isn�t one already I could set that up. I�d love to find a great place with a great person(s), easy to get along with, and live for about a year. This would allow me to save money, get back on my feet and hopefully buy a home myself.

My ideal situation would be rooming with another professional(s) who were responsible, but also like to have fun and not uptight about everything. Someone who wouldn�t mind my boys being over and has a nice, clean, safe environment. My 2 sons live in Cornelius so I don�t want to move too far from them. Ideal locations would be LKN, Huntersville, Concord, North Charlotte, or even downtown Charlotte.

My brother is a very great person, and he is looking for a room and to help someone in need. He really is the embodiment of a conscientious Howard Sprague from The Andy Griffith Show, and at this time after his divorce, he Needs a Room.

My brother was born to help older folks with their daily living. If fact, he has basically been doing this all his life. In law school 26 years ago, he lived with an older lady in her home, and she was very attached to him and sang his praises often.

He is now 55, a non smoker, with never a problem. He is a great intellectual nerd! Never any problem whatsoever with drugs or drinking. I am an attorney, and so is he. He has no pets, and has to my knowledge never had a traffic ticket for Pete's Sake. He is a very clean and humble person. His reliability is 100 percent � and has been for years. He is the squarest person I know, and he does what he says and agrees to do to a fault.

My elderly aunt loved him to the ends of the earth, and he lived with her and took incredible care of her before she passed away at almost 90. After she passed away, he met and fell in love with a younger girl, got married, got taken advantage of, and then divorced. He is an attorney, and very smart, but he is NOT a hard driving titan of business by any means. He earns very little practicing law, and generally works nearly for free just helping people.

That�s his problem (or maybe his blessing). He would rather play a good game of checkers and spend time taking care of the house than go to court or earn the big dollars practicing law. He believes in the simple life, and helping others and practicing the Golden Rule.

He is so low key that sometimes I wonder if he has a pulse! However, he is as healthy as a horse, strong and smart. He knows the law very well and is truly a brilliant man � he is just does not have a competitor type of mind. I know, because I am the opposite. I am a hard driving, money making attorney myself. If we were dogs, he would be the floppy eared loyal Bassett hound, and I would be the Pit Bull. I am 9 years younger, and he is so relaxed and healthy that I am sure that he will live to be 100, and one of my pall bearers at my funeral.

My brother needs a good room sharing arrangement in the Charlotte area, preferably near to I-77. I would suspect that it would be perfect for someone who is kind and lonely, who could use a great companion and smart man around the house keeping an eye out from any problems - and one who is honest and loyal.

He has his own car, and is very dependable. His is also incredibly honest to a fault. Being an attorney, he is held to a very high standard of honesty and fidelity. And he is the absolute poster child of these qualities.

Who ever catches him at the right time will have an incredible find and friend for many years.

To me, an elderly person who has the house space and who wants to essentially "adopt" a very kind, dependable, healthy 55 year old son who is loyal as the day is long should write me a line at my email address below. I will look at the responses and get back to you.

He has been basically living with me and my family up here at Lake Norman for a while, and this is not what he needs to be his best. I have recently graduated college and moved from Georgia to North Carolina to take a job in south Charlotte. As of now I am temporarily living in the Ballantyne area, but want to live closer to where I work (I work off of 77 center-drive and minuet). Hey Everyone. I am looking for a roommate, or maybe a couple of roommates in Charlotte. I want to live within a 15 minute drive of SouthPark, as that is where my office will be. I am moving down to Charlotte in the beginning of January from Cincinnati. My company is opening a satellite location and while I could live by myself, I think it would be cool to live with some people who are fun and have probably been in Charlotte longer than myself. I'll try to give as detailed a description as possible to avoid confusion at any point.

OK, so.... What I would hope to find (or something close to it)... Well, I have lived with guys and girls, so I'm fine with either. I'm 31, but like to have fun as if I'm still in my twenties (I work very hard, so still need to blow off steam- no need to grow up too fast and stay in every night). I could probably live with people of any age, with the only caveat being: dont take yourselves too seriously if you are my age. I am fairly quiet during the week, as I can sometimes work 12 hour office days- but don't typically turn down happy hours. On the weekends I like to be social and go out and do things, whether its outdoors, football/sporting events, grill outs, parties/bars, I play sand volleyball and I can have fun doing anything. I would prefer roommates that are outgoing and social also. I like to joke around a lot and can be sarcastic.

As far as home life, as I said I am fairly quiet during the week. I am a laid back person so am completely fine just chilling out. On weekends, I dont like having the party house (been there done that) but do like to have mutual (to roommates) friends over for beers before heading out, and occasionally after bars as well. I am not the loud and obnoxious type though. There are plenty of weekends where I dont go out- and several Fridays a month as I need to go to the office Saturday mornings to catch up everything from the week.

I do have a dog. A 2 year old pug. She is very low maintenance, small for a pug, just usually chills out and hangs around like most pugs. She doesnt need a yard or anything, I take her for walks etc. Not that she likes exercise. She like other dogs and loves people. And girls like her, so its always been good for me. haha

What else would people need to know.... Um, I am very clean as far as common areas, and leave my messiness to my own bedroom. I dont smoke, dont want to live in a house where people smoke inside, dont want to live in a constant party but do want social people.
