Hey Everyone. I am looking for a roommate, or maybe a couple of roommates in Charlotte. I want to live within a 15 minute drive of SouthPark, as that is where my office will be. I am moving down to Charlotte in the beginning of January from Cincinnati. My company is opening a satellite location and while I could live by myself, I think it would be cool to live with some people who are fun and have probably been in Charlotte longer than myself. I'll try to give as detailed a description as possible to avoid confusion at any point.


OK, so.... What I would hope to find (or something close to it)... Well, I have lived with guys and girls, so I'm fine with either. I'm 31, but like to have fun as if I'm still in my twenties (I work very hard, so still need to blow off steam- no need to grow up too fast and stay in every night). I could probably live with people of any age, with the only caveat being: dont take yourselves too seriously if you are my age. I am fairly quiet during the week, as I can sometimes work 12 hour office days- but don't typically turn down happy hours. On the weekends I like to be social and go out and do things, whether its outdoors, football/sporting events, grill outs, parties/bars, I play sand volleyball and I can have fun doing anything. I would prefer roommates that are outgoing and social also. I like to joke around a lot and can be sarcastic.

As far as home life, as I said I am fairly quiet during the week. I am a laid back person so am completely fine just chilling out. On weekends, I dont like having the party house (been there done that) but do like to have mutual (to roommates) friends over for beers before heading out, and occasionally after bars as well. I am not the loud and obnoxious type though. There are plenty of weekends where I dont go out- and several Fridays a month as I need to go to the office Saturday mornings to catch up everything from the week.

I do have a dog. A 2 year old pug. She is very low maintenance, small for a pug, just usually chills out and hangs around like most pugs. She doesnt need a yard or anything, I take her for walks etc. Not that she likes exercise. She like other dogs and loves people. And girls like her, so its always been good for me. haha

What else would people need to know.... Um, I am very clean as far as common areas, and leave my messiness to my own bedroom. I dont smoke, dont want to live in a house where people smoke inside, dont want to live in a constant party but do want social people.
