NeuroFocus has recently built a large state-of-the-art Electrophysiology facility at its Berkeley headquarters and is expanding globally with more national and international centers. We are looking for top EEG physiologists for these diversified operations.
Responsible for running studies/experiments, collecting EEG & physiological data, participate in experimental setup & validation, data validation and archival.
Summary of essential job functions
Responsible for all aspects of data collection including interacting with subjects as well as continuously monitoring the incoming data.
Collecting EEG & physiological data from human subjects viewing marketing material.
Participate in experimental setup & validation, data validation and archival.

Role:
1. Team Member / Leader whose responsibilities will include formulation of new products, production support of existing products, quality control, and product testing.
2. Will report to the Director of R & D and interact with production, quality, sales, marketing and customers.
3. Modification and refinement of existing products to reduce cost, to improve consistency, to address regulatory compliance issues, or to address specific application requirements.
4. Evaluates new product performance and compatibility with range of spray equipment.
5. Quality control, all products - provide guidance, assist in production procedure development, audits, and corrective action where necessary.
Location: Position is in highly desirable metropolitan area in Tennessee

Requirements:
1. Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
2. 3 or more years in R&D in a chemical environment.
3. Ability & Interest in working in a Team Environment to achieve objectives
4. Knowledge & Appreciation of Quality Control initiatives, audits, testing, documentation & etc.
5. At ease communicating clearly & effectively with internal staff, distributors & customers on technical & quality issues
6. Experience with modern laboratory techniques and equipment
7. Proven ability to develop and implement strategies for R&D projects
8. Experience in personal computer word processing, spreadsheet, databases & presentation software
9. Eligible to work full-time within the U.S.

Effectively follow SOPs and policies
Performs analytical chemistry assays based on new and existing methodologies
Operation of analytical instrumentation, such as HPLC, FTIR, etc.
Developing, establishing and validating analytical testing methodology used to control raw materials, production intermediates, and final products maintaining regulatory compliance
Writing technical reports to document methodologies
Implementing new and/or existing analytical methods for identifying compounds
Accountable for the accurate analysis of samples
Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of a 4 year degree in the science field preferred
Minimum of 2+ years in an analytical laboratory
Knowledge of cGMP, cGLP and USP guidelines preferred
Knowledge of Waters HPLCs and Empower2 software preferred
Knowledge of creating technical documents preferred
Knowledge of maintaining an aseptic environment
Ability to excel at details, multi-tasking, and working under pressure
Must be flexible and able to adapt to changes in priorities
Excellent communication skills, and ability to work with others in a positive and collaborative manner
