Responsibilities:
Design, document, install, configure, maintain, and optimize robust, scalable, highly-automated, and secure technical solutions in support of the company's wireless network infrastructure and access control systems. Work as a member of a geographically diverse team of experts to implement and support large-scale network security solutions utilizing numerous technologies across a global enterprise environment. Create scripts, employ tools, develop automation techniques, and pursue ideas to increase the manageability, efficiency, capability, capacity, and security of network security devices and systems. Analyze and assess distributed network security infrastructure systems and identify gaps leading to potential improvements. Provide subject matter expertise in the areas of AAA, RADIUS, TACACS, Wireless network security, and Network Admission Control (NAC) to cross-organizational project teams working to implement technology solutions for the combined enterprise. Create detailed component-level documentation including functional requirements, implementation plans, network diagrams, communications diagrams, configuration documents, support documentation, training materials, and project documents. Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Computer science, along with at least 7 years of experience in the installation, testing, maintenance and integration of network systems and network security solutions, or a combination of equivalent education and work experience. Expert knowledge and experience in the use of TCP/IP-based network protocols and applications. Expert knowledge of 802.11a/b/g/n wireless LAN systems and security features. Expert knowledge of AAA, RADIUS, TACACS, 802.1x/NAC, and access control systems. Strong knowledge and experience in the areas of IP routing, switching, and load-balancing. The Collaboration Services Technician (CST) is responsible for providing email solutions and 2nd level user support for Microsoft Outlook, Access, and Exchange.
