Trained desktop PC technicians required for large customer project that will include the following:
• System OS upgrade and build configuration of existing PCs from Win 2000 to Windows XP
• De-installation inventory of removed PCs and printers
• Installation of new pre-imaged PCs and configuration builds of all devices including IP and printer assignments
• Installation and testing of both existing and new peripherals devices such as Monitors, document printers and receipt printers
• Completion of customer supplied inventory documentation and clean up of site
• All work to be done during non-business hours Monday-Thursday from 2:00pm till approximately 2:00am or site completion (actual hours to be determined)
• Must be available for all days
• Must be able to work in a Team environment with minimal supervision and have clean professional appearance
• Additional experience in Cisco networking, Linux based servers and structured cabling environments would be a plus
• Must have own hand tools
• Payment scale will be fixed priced per site
