We are looking for 2 positions; a Run Coach and a Walk Coach. These positions are contracted positions that provide coaching services to participants for the Crohn�s & Colitis Foundation of America Team Challenge Endurance Training Program. The training season will begin in February 2010 and conclude at the Rock �n� Roll Half Marathon taking place on June 27, 2010.

We are looking for the qualifications below:

1. Develop weekly training schedules for participants to run a half marathon at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.
2. Attend a minimum of 4 Informational Meetings (throughout February, 2010) to review and discuss the training program with potential participants.
3. Assist with recruitment through contacts within the fitness market.
4. Develop training courses and secure park permits, if necessary, with the help of staff from CCFA.
5. Establish water stops at appropriate mile markers along route for group training sessions. Establish necessary bathroom stops on route to accommodate our patients who are training. It is recommended every 3 miles for water/bathroom stops.
6. Each group training session is started with stretches and last minute information for a successful run training session.
7. Ensure that all participants are supported throughout group training session. Coach is to stay until every person finishes safely.
8. Organize clinics throughout the season to teach participants on correct clothing, shoes, hydration, stretching, sports psychology, etc. Guest speakers are highly encouraged.
9. Be available for staff and participants weekly via email, phone and in person for any questions relating to training for a half marathon.
10. Assist staff and participants as necessary during event weekend (June 25 � 28, 2010) and ensure that all participants finish their race safely. All coaches on site event weekend support all Team Challenge Participants for CCFA.

The NC Riverkeepers are looking to hire an intern for the spring and summer 2010 Muddy Water Watch photo and video contest. This contest is designed to raise awareness about North Carolina�s number one water pollution problem, mud. The contest will seek photo and video submissions of muddy water, failing construction sites, muddy polluted rivers, and educational videos about mud pollution.

Entries will be judged by a panel of celebrity judges and the grand prize winner will receive $1,000. The contest hopes to target University, College, and Community College students to get involved.

As a Muddy Water Watch Assistant Coordinator you will charged with implementing this campaign at your local school. This will involve advertising, promoting the campaign to professors and classes, talking with school media, meeting with clubs and interested students, and obtaining as many photo and video submissions as possible.

This internship is a great resume builder and chance to get involved with 14 NC Riverkeepers to help solve our biggest water quality threat. The job is part time and is flexible to your schedule, but it will require a commitment to be involved for at least the spring 2010 semester.

On an annual basis, the responsibilities and compensation of the worship leader may be reevaluated and adjusted pursuant to the growing needs of the church. This position will move to a full-time position in the future.

Qualifications:
1. Be a Christian who has repented of a sinful life, received salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, has been baptized, is submitted to the Father in obedience, and continues to live a life characterized by Christ-likeness, always increasing in maturity and intimacy with the Father through the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit, and exhibit Biblical character in every aspect of life.

2. Have a vibrant personal life of worship as evidenced by regular personal times of intimate worship that may include the creation of new and passionate worship songs.

3. Have experience leading a worship team, vocally and instrumentally, in contemporary/modern congregational worship as well as possibly leading in a small group settings.

4. Be a proficient leader using guitar (keyboard would be considered); advanced skill level on more than one instrument is desirable but not required.

5. Demonstrate the ability to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit throughout a worship service and make creative decisions during a service to follow His leading.

6. Communicate effectively, both verbally and written, and work well in a team. If married, spousal support is necessary as regular hang out time among staff and families is a vital part of our support and development.

Duties/Responsibilities:
1. Lead worship with the worship team at Life Way for all worship services and for occasional special events throughout the year or oversee team for these events.

2. Meet weekly with senior team for staff planning as well as worship planning and creative sessions (usually one meeting per week).

3. Keep abreast of current worship music and incorporate new and fresh worship songs into our services.

4. Schedule and lead regular rehearsals.

5. Identify, train and disciple upcoming musicians/vocalists for the worship team.

6. Manage the worship and sound budget.

7. Maintain a worship music file for use by those on the worship team, keeping it up to date with new music as appropriate.

8. Oversee worship and sound team and complete and communicate schedules for those teams on timely basis.

9. Oversee care and maintenance of church-owned worship and sound equipment and ensure all necessary supplies are in stock and operational.

Professional Artistic Director is looking for a partner with extensive training and experience in the Performing Arts as a dancer, choreographer and teacher. You must be at least 18 years of age. Qualified person should have experience in Classical Ballet, Modern dance, contemporary and Jazz dance. Please note that this is not a paid position (immediately). Candidate must have reliable transportation to and from company events and rehearsals. Must live in the Charlotte region or no further than 1 hour outside of the Charlotte region.

This individual should have a desire to assist in running a dance company, dance training program, talent network and more. Individual must have a desire to choreograph when needed, teach when needed and more. I am looking for an individual who is looking to share the responsibilities in the following:

- Building (from the ground up) a dance arts empire to consist of a professional-grade performance company, dance-arts training program, & more;
- Periodically handle administrative tasks that includes booking performances, teachers and more;
- Choreographing dancetheater works and company repertoire;
- Co-direct rehearsals and more.
