-Looking for a house, mobile home, or duplex preferably. Only apartments that would be considered would be single level ones. Preferred areas: Mount Holly, Belmont, Cramerton, Lowell and areas near by to those, Moores Chapel Rd area too. I would consider other areas within the 20 minute drive to CLT but only if the area is a nice, safe area. I enjoy areas that are more rural but I will sacrifice that for the right place.

-Rent cannot exceed $525-600 or so... prefer some utilities be included but not necessary. I would need something where appliances are included as I cannot afford to purchase any at this point in time.

-Yard work? Not a problem. I can handle a yard and having to mow grass/weed whack, etc. I enjoy working outside doing things.

-I do have a small dog, under 30 lbs, he is house trained and crated when I'm not home... so the property must allow my dog. A yard for him would be a perk too.

-I do have steady job at airport but the smaller the security deposit, the better. I'm still trying to get completely on my feet. An ideal situation would be someone that would work the deposit into rent so I can pay it over time, but it's negotiable for a small deposit or someone that would split the deposit into two payments.

-Estimated move-in time? Anytime between now and within the next month or two is what I'm ideally looking for maybe even after the Holidays but if I find the right place for the right price and someone will work with me, I'd move now-within the next month. Please help me out, I'm new to the area and it's hard to find places when you're not sure of all the different areas. OK, so.... What I would hope to find (or something close to it)... Well, I have lived with guys and girls, so I'm fine with either. I'm 31, but like to have fun as if I'm still in my twenties (I work very hard, so still need to blow off steam- no need to grow up too fast and stay in every night). I could probably live with people of any age, with the only caveat being: dont take yourselves too seriously if you are my age. I am fairly quiet during the week, as I can sometimes work 12 hour office days- but like to take up happy hour offers when they come. On the weekends I like to be social and go out and do things, whether its outdoors, football/sporting events, grill outs, parties/bars, I play sand volleyball and I can have fun doing anything. I would prefer roommates that are outgoing and social also. I like to joke around a lot and can be sarcastic. I dont want to live with any kids.

As far as home life, as I said I am fairly quiet during the week. I am a laid back person so am completely fine just chilling out. On weekends, I dont like having the party house (been there done that) but do like to have mutual (to roommates) friends over for beers before heading out, and occasionally after bars as well. I am not the loud and obnoxious type though. There are some of weekends where I dont go out- and several Fridays a month as I need to go to the office Saturday mornings to catch up everything from the week. Overall, I am very social, get along with just about everyone, and just enjoy living life.

I do have a dog. A 2 year old pug. She is very low maintenance, small for a pug, just usually chills out and hangs around like most pugs. She doesnt need a yard or anything, I take her for walks etc. Not that she likes exercise. She like other dogs and loves people. And girls like her, so its always been good for me. haha

What else would people need to know.... Um, I am very clean as far as common areas, and leave my messiness to my own bedroom. I dont smoke, dont want to live in a house where people smoke inside, dont want to live in a constant party but do want social people.

My boyfriend and I are looking to relocate to the Charlotte area, pretty much as soon as possible. We are looking for a 2/3 bedroom(with big rooms about the same size ideal ) 2+ bath house or townhome (if detached/allows for privacy) in the Dilworth/Sedgefield area. Is this a good/safe neighborhood? We need a place that must be pet friendly. We have one medium sized dog/fully trained. We're looking for luxury-no fixer uppers/really old houses. We do have a budget of around $900 p/month, and are looking for a place about 1400 s/f give or take.



I've listed some of the things that are important to us and what we're looking for in our new residence in Charlotte below.

Relevant-

* House or townhouse as long as it doesn't feel like all the residents are pilled up around each other.

* Close to 'action' uptown/downtown malls, shopping centers, fast food, restaurants, nightlife, We are in young, professionals (and want to be with same)

* Seeking a PET friendly rental. (our dog is our child)

* 2 master bedrooms or 2 rooms of similar size, (a 3rd bedroom or/office/den is a bonus)

* Rental should have a large/open floor plan, (good for entertaining) where the rooms flow nicely together and doesn't feel small.

Ideal-

*Fenced in yard

*Near a dog park

* Gas stove

*Garage-any size

*Close to 'town' (grocery store, shopping/retail, movie theater)

*An area where Walking is encouraged.

*Could be furnished or sublet even, till we find what we're looking for long term.

* Utilities Included

* Flexible lease or month to month would be perfect

About my dog: He is house trained cute little dog. He knows how to sit, lay, circle, fetch, jump, stay, go home, and catch cheerios in air. He needs a lot of exercise so he prefers to stay in a house with a fenced backyard. He is very friendly with any other pets.
