Primary Responsibilities: <br>
* Collaborate with delivery manager, team leader, development team and customer  to analyze technical requirements, software upgrade or migration, and enhancements. <br>
* Perform assigned technical design, analysis & troubleshooting, hands-on configuration and defect resolution, and  integration testing at customer site. <br>
* Provide status feedback and work timeline projections routinely and as needed. <br>
* Coordinate technical and other issues with technical support groups, business, and remote software development teams to insure successful software product implementation. <br>
* Coordinate technical support for the various customer groups (i. e.  product, business,  IT, development, etc.) <br>
* Ensure that project and systems documentation meets corporate and regulatory requirements; provide information regarding technical details of project as required. <br>
* Provide technical oversight and input to ongoing application development projects; opportunity to play technical lead role in specific project or phase of a project.  <br>
  <br>
Qualifications/Experience: <br>
Minimum  4 years experience with hands-on development of Web-based and server-based applications using JAVA technology stack <br>
  <br>
Technical Skills: <br>
J2EE, JSP/Servlets (or similar), Spring, Hibernate, Junit, AJAX, SCA, BPEL, XML, XSLET, WSDL, JMS, SOAP, WebServices/WS standards <br>
  <br>
Product/Toolset Skills: <br>
* Websphere ESB, WPS, WTX,  Oracle ESB,  WID, soapUI (or other automated testing tools) <br>
* Experienced in development in Oracle database (DB2/SQL Server is a plus) <br>
* Familiarity with RDBMS and PL-SQL concepts <br>
* SOA experience preferably 2 years with IBM WebSphere <br>
* Experience building business high-volume transactional systems is a strong plus <br>
* Knowledge of ISO and/or SWIFT (MT/MX) messaging standards desirable <br>
* BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent <br>
* The ideal candidate needs to have excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills as he/she will be interacting with various customer groups. <br>
* Prior experience working in a financial institution is an advantage not a must. <br>

This expert level software engineering position will be responsible for system analysis, high-level architecture and design, modern software development, unit and systems testing, implementation, and maintenance of complex Web systems and service-oriented development. This position requires experience with Java/C++ and/or other modern object-oriented development, web application development, web service development, and distributed systems development.<br>

Duties include:<br>
	Complete architectural, design and code review of current WebTool progress<br>
	Works with business owners, stakeholders, potential users, enterprise architects, and other software engineers to elicit, develop, and document next phases of WebTool development <br>
	Designs, oversees, and develops WebTool components<br>
	Works with Clemson's infrastructure team (CSO) to align infrastructure with WebTool application needs/use<br>
	Provide production support for WebTool application<br>
	Provides technical training/mentoring and input to other related software teams on the integration and interoperations of the WebTool<br>
	Ensures that all deliverables and activities are completed with high quality and in a timely fashion.<br>
	Reports on project status and strategies orally and in writing.<br>

L-3 C2S2 Division is a leading provider of C4ISR enterprise architectures and software, applications and portal development.  We have recently won a number of new and long-term contracts making long-term growth opportunities at L-3 C2S2 Charleston plentiful.  Over the past year, we have more than doubled our technical staff and we are still growing!<br><br>

 

L-3 C2S2 has immediate openings for a Technical Requirements Analyst (TRA) on the Veterans Benefits Management System (VBMS) program.  Potential for Relocation Assistance and Sign On Bonus!  The VBMS program is a multi-year effort to transition the current paper-based Veterans claims process to a paperless solution which will reduce the average time for veteran benefits claim processing, reduce the number of claims in the VBA backlog, and automate claims tracking.  The program will include Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), user interface, communications, database and security software development. This development program follows an agile development life cycle to rapidly deliver solutions and employs scrum teams equipped with current state of the art technologies, processes and development environments.<br><br>

 

The Technical Requirements Analyst (TRA) is the member of the development/Scrum team with primary responsibility for translating business/user requirements into system/software requirements specifications and models. The TRA serves as the primary requirements liaison between the development team and the product management team and the user community.<br><br><ul>

 

<li>        Perform requirements planning to include development of a requirements management plan which describes the specific requirements practices and resources to be used on the project.

<li>        Analyze business and user requirements for clarity, completeness, scope, and technical feasibility.

<li>        Decompose business and user functional requirements into system and software functional and non-functional requirements.

<li>        Define system quality and operational attributes, external interfaces, constraints, rules, and other non-functional requirements.

<li>        Develop system use cases that describe the systems intended functional behavior.

<li>        Develop supplementary specifications that capture system requirements that are not readily captured in use cases.

<li>        Perform requirements modeling and develop UML diagrams which depict various perspectives of the systems functional behavior, to include, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and state diagrams.

<li>        Develop software requirements specifications that capture the software requirements for the complete system and serve as the build-to specification for development.

<li>        Provide authoritative understanding of the systems implementation independent behavior to support: user experience designers in the development of mockups, prototypes, use case storyboards, navigation maps, wireframes, and UX guidelines; solution architects in the development of architecture and design models; data designers in the development of logical and physical data models; test designers in the development of software test plans and test cases.

<li>        Serve as the development team representative during UAT for the purpose of clarifying the intended functional behavior of the software.

<li>        Manage requirements using web based requirements management packages.

<li>        Define requirements attributes describing meta-data for each requirement in the requirements repository. Populate and maintain the attributes over the life-cycle of the requirement.

<li>        Manage requirements traceability to include development of requirements traceability matrices.

<li>        Support requirements triage to select the right requirements to include in a specific software release. Activities would include identification of relationships and dependencies between requirements, and estimation of technical effort.

<li>        Manage changes to baselined requirements through effective application of change control processes and tools. Analyze SCRs for impact of change, etc.

<li>        Support CCB meetings. Track requirements status throughout the project.

<li>        At the end of each iteration or release, produce a lessons learned report which summarizes the effectiveness and efficiency of the requirements practices and resources employed on the project.

<li>        Serve as primary liaison between the development team and the business requirements team for the purpose of establishing a common understanding of requirements and the as-built product.</ul><br>

 

<b>Qualifications</b><ul>

<li>        Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information systems, business, or related discipline required with 6+ years work experience with Software Development projects.  Two years of relevant experience is equivalent to one year toward a bachelor's degree.

<li>        Specifying file formats and transformations from one format to another.

<li>        Problem solving, decomposition, synthesis, managing complexity, modeling, organizational, written and oral communication, interpersonal skills

<li>        Agile software development experience/support

<li>        Some programming and development experience a plus

<li>        Working knowledge of XML.

<li>        Objected oriented analysis and design methodologies.

<li>        Technical analysis practices.

<li>        Able to proactively conduct interviews with all project stakeholders to elicit functional requirements, modeling those requirements in an organized manner, then managing and communicating those requirements throughout the project life cycle.

<li>        Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) a must</ul><br>

Job Description:  <br>

The primary objective(s) of the Customer Support Technical Analyst will be to assist clients with use of our enterprise software application, provide product assistance and phone support, troubleshoot software challenges, and provide written documentation for the support team.  This position will carry hours from 1-9 p.m. daily, Monday through Friday.<br>
<br>
The candidate will manage technical support cases for multiple clients and assist in the resolution of technical, business and logical software issues.  The individual will also be expected to identify and document software issues, and collaborate with our Engineering team to achieve resolution.  Additionally, this person will build and maintain strong client relationships and handle multiple tasks to support the Services team.  <br>

Your primary focus will be on architecting, deploying and managing highly available, highly scalable infrastructure for our SaaS solutions.  Additionally, you will be responsible for planning and executing strategic internal IT projects.<br>

To be considered for this position, you must have a minimum of 7+ years of experience deploying and managing infrastructure, primarily in a Microsoft-based environment.  You will possess an understanding of LAN and other Network technologies and have the ability to conceive, document, manage and implement technology based projects including new services and system migrations.  You must also have experience with management of operations in a cloud-based environment, such as Amazon, Azure, or Rackspace.<br>
<br>
Experience in using and managing SAN, RAID based technologies is highly desirable.<br>
<br>
Recommended skills and experience include the following:<br>
	Record of deploying and managing highly available, highly scalable infrastructure in a cloud environment<br>
	Experience in using and managing SAN, RAID<br>
	Experience deploying and managing databases, including SQL Server and MySQL<br>
	Adept at directing and managing team members on IT project execution and maintenance of IT operations<br>
	Experience with best practices in network security<br>
	Windows clustering experience<br>
	Track record of hands-on management in a 99.99% uptime environment<br>

Must have demonstrated ability to clearly and effectively communicate with front office traders and business people as well as risk management and model validation quants. <br>

Basic Qualifications <br>
5+ years capital markets industry experience. <br>

Minimum Qualifications <br>
A minimum of 1+ years of fixed income securities, bonds, CMOs, CMBS, RMBS and associated analytics experience (OAS, OAD, WAL etc). A minimum of 3+ experience in C++ programming. Strong communications skills. Credit derivative knowledge (CDO, CDS, LCDS, CDX etc) would be good but can be learned. Experience with prepayment models would also be good. <br>

Preferred Skills <br>

2 years experience with build, deployment, and support of Blackberry Enterprise Server including recovery or fail over <br>
Support and planning of migrations from prior versions of Exchange or other platforms to Exchange 2003 <br>

Minimum of 5-10 years of related technical support experience <br>
Experience supporting systems that provide services to multiple customer bases simultaneously <br>
