Hey.. just recently purchased a computer from someone and it already has a virus on it! I have an anti-virus system, and I thought I had put it on there but apparently I haven't because the computer is still saying that there's a virus! I'm not a very computer savvy person, so I need someone, ANYONE who is knowledgeable in this area to come out and take a look at my desktop computer to try and get it up and running!

Looking for one or two experienced local IT services technicians to support a project roll-out and ongoing ad-hoc service calls at 6 (Matthews, Concord, Charlotte, Greensboro, Winston-Salem and Durham) of our locations in NC.

The immediate requirement is that we have a project whereby the technician will be required to work independently and:
- Must have valid driver's license, own your own car (w/insurance) and be willing to travel to any of our locations at very short notice
- Must have your own laptop, cabling and basic PC repair tools
- Run in and out of wall Cat5e cabling to the data closet (ability to terminate and install wall plates when necessary)
- Mount and install a wall rack professionally
- Install switch and patch panels
- Configure router(s), in this case it is a HP ProCurive
- Install and configure multiple PC's
- Box specified equipment PROFESSIONALLY, for shipping back to HQ

We have some Immediate Work Needed in all 6 locations.

Once again, you must have your own vehicle and be willing to travel to site locations with very short notice.

- Computer Diagnostics (hardware and software) Repair & Networking Experience

Others will be Folding@Home (protein folding).
At some point I was hoping to experiment with clustering computers for high performance computing or a storage cluster.
I have the equipment and knowledge, but no extra space/power to do it.

I can do all the networking and computer configuration. All I need is space, power, and a connection to the Internet (bandwidth usage is minimal).

I am willing to work with whoever offers the above. I can trade for my computer/server/networking skills.
